FreeFly is the most modern of freefall disciplines in skydiving. It includes the traditional “Belly to Earth” position but it also includes flyings on your back, in a vertical “Head Up” position or a vertical “Head Down” position. These positions increase the speed of the freefall and allow for new types of formations.

To be an effective and safe “freeflyer” you must understand the aerodynamics of your body in freefall. You need to be able to control your position and speed relative to other flyers in all vertical or horizontal positions.
